Returns & Refunds Policy

At Leatharmony, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our handmade leather goods.

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order.

Please note that personalised, custom-made, made-to-order or engraved items are considered final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive faulty.

 

RETURN AUTHORISATION REQUIRED

All returns must be approved by Leatharmony before being shipped back.

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • The item(s) you wish to return
  • The reason for the return

If your request is approved, we will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) Number and return instructions.

Returns sent without prior approval or without a valid RMA number may be refused and will not qualify for a refund.

 

RETURN CONDITIONS

Returned items must:

  • Be unused and in original condition
  • Show no signs of wear, damage, stains, scratches, odours, or alteration
  • Include all original packaging, tags, dust bags, inserts, and accessories supplied with the product
  • Be securely packaged to prevent damage during transit

As our packaging forms part of the overall customer experience, products returned without their original packaging may be subject to a reduction in the refund amount.

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.

 

RETURN SHIPPING

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.

We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service, as Leatharmony cannot be held responsible for returns lost, delayed, or damaged in transit.

The customer remains responsible for the goods until they are safely received by us.

Once your return has been shipped, please email us the tracking number.

For international returns, we recommend clearly marking the package:

"RETURNED GOODS – RETURN TO MANUFACTURER"

This may help avoid unnecessary customs charges.

 

FAULTY OR INCORRECT ITEMS

If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at:

Please provide:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photographs showing the fault

Where appropriate, we may offer a repair, replacement, exchange, or refund.

Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, improper storage, or natural variations in leather are not considered manufacturing defects.

Please note that genuine leather is a natural material. Variations in grain, texture, markings, and colour are part of its unique character and should not be considered faults.

 

REFUNDS

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used when placing the order.

Please note that the following are non-refundable:

  • Original shipping charges
  • Return shipping costs
  • Customs duties and import taxes
  • International sales taxes
  • Payment processing fees
  • Credit card transaction fees (3.5%)

Credit card and payment processing fees cannot be refunded because these fees are retained by the payment providers and are not returned to Leatharmony.

If your order was placed in a currency different from your local currency, exchange rate fluctuations may result in a refund amount that differs slightly from the original amount paid.

Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days after approval, although your payment provider may require additional time for the funds to appear in your account.

If returned products show signs of use, damage, or a reduction in value beyond what is necessary to inspect the item, we reserve the right to reduce the refund amount accordingly or refuse the refund.

 

EXCHANGES

We currently offer exchanges subject to product availability.

Customers are responsible for any price difference, shipping costs, customs duties, taxes, and associated charges relating to the exchange.

Please contact us before returning any item so that an exchange can be arranged.
